2. Educational purpose and important disclaimers

V&A STYLO S.C. provides educational programs in personal styling awareness, visual presentation training, retail communication education, and professional development workshops. All materials, pages, guides, and communications are provided exclusively for educational and professional development purposes.

  • No professional licensing: Unless explicitly stated in writing for a specific program, our education does not constitute a regulated qualification, license, or certification recognized by any governmental authority.
  • Participant responsibility: Participants remain responsible for their own decisions, implementation efforts, actions, and resulting outcomes.
  • Specialist participation: Invited specialists and subject-matter experts participate solely as educational contributors and advisors.

3. Service description and availability

The website provides information about our courses and programs, learning resources, and methods to contact us. We operate from Spain and offer educational access to participants throughout Canada via flexible learning formats (which may include online participation, scheduled cohorts, and workshop-based delivery).

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time. We may also adjust course descriptions, durations, schedules, and delivery formats to keep content accurate and to reflect operational constraints. Any enrollment, payment information, and logistics are confirmed separately during the enrollment process.

All website content, including text, layout, branding, course descriptions, learning frameworks, worksheets, and related materials (collectively, “Content”) is owned by or licensed to V&A STYLO S.C. and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the website for personal and internal business reference purposes. 8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, V&A STYLO S.C. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the website or Content.

To the extent that V&A STYLO S.C. is found liable for any claim, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to the website or these Terms will be limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) €100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is not permitted).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless V&A STYLO S.C. from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the website; (b) information you submit through forms; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your infringement of any rights of a third party.

10. Force majeure

V&A STYLO S.C. will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, pandemics, governmental actions, internet outages, cyberattacks, or failures of hosting, cloud, or telecommunications providers.

11. International use

We operate from Spain and offer educational participation to individuals and organizations across Canada. We make no representation that the website or Content is appropriate or legally available in every jurisdiction. You are responsible for complying with your local laws when accessing the website.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction (Spain)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict of law principles. Subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in your place of residence, you agree that the courts of Valladolid, Spain will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the website.

If you are a consumer and mandatory rules in your country of residence provide you with rights to bring proceedings in your local courts, those rights are not affected by this section.

13. Dispute resolution and informal resolution period

Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to contact us and provide a short description of the issue so we can attempt to resolve it informally. Unless urgent relief is required, the parties will attempt to resolve disputes within 30 days of the first notice.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the website at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if your use creates security or operational risks. The following sections survive termination: Intellectual Property, Disclaimers of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law and Jurisdiction, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and V&A STYLO S.C. regarding your use of the website.

17. Assignment

We may assign or transfer these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.

18. No waiver

If we do not enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

19. Modifications to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes become effective 14 days after they are posted on this page, unless a change is required by law or addresses security issues, in which case it may take effect immediately. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision.

20. Electronic communications
